NEWs

So
we left Chicago a month ago. We're now in a new City and have set up shop.
We'll be moving into our own new (rented) home October first. It's a duplex in Sullivan's Gulch.

The Arrow is pointing to "downtown" Portland where the business people live. We are just above and to the right of downtown.
Pretty much the center of Portland. Not 'center' like the hippest place, but center like the middle of the town. (It's near the country's first Indoor mall, whoopie!)
All of our stuff is still on it's way out here, so I'm just living with the things we packed in the car. I have the camera, but not the cable to connect to my computer - so picture updates will have to wait.
It is beautiful here. We took Arlo for a walk on Mount Tabor (which our new home is relatively close to) and he loved it. It's got huge, open (and beautiful) spaces for him to run around in. He found a little Boston Terrier friend and the two chased each other in giant circles on the side of the mountain.
I had a job interview for an intern position at a production company. I need to start making money. I haven't done that in a while, which is not cool for anyone, especially Stacey who has been paying for everything going into this move.
Rehearsals for the Kids show are going well. We've gotten some great stories submitted by kids. Some very cute and silly and a few heart-wrenching stories. It should make for a very interesting show.

Things are at a good place right now.
hopefully they'll be getting better as I hear from all the jobs I've applied for.

We'll be back in Chicago (briefly) for Scot and Holly's wedding in a week and a half.
then, we'll be moving into our own place in Portland, proper.
