going away

It's all happening pretty fast. On Friday we got our first offer on our place, went back and forth a few times, but eventually made it agreeable to both parties (buyer and seller) and are selling.
It will be a while before it closes, but the fact that there is a buyer is a bit of a relief. This week we start packing everything up so we can head out West on Thursday morning.
We had a party Saturday night. Scot and Holly brought Wes up to play with Arlo while the party was happening...
I'm going to miss all the great people I've become friends with here in Chicago. As I said a hundred times at the party, everyone must come out to Portland once our theater opens. it's the right thing to do.
